Our Vision for Parish Missions

_Our Parish Mission Team proclaims the Gospel in a relevant encouraging and challenging way. Recognising our own need for constant conversion and renewal, we seek to present the person of Jesus and our Catholic Faith in an uplifting way, which invites a new openness to the Holy Spirit. We wish to encourage Parish Communities to realise that God has a mission plan for them. We seek to help parishioners deepen their personal relationship with Jesus and the Church.

We see this happening through:

• Prayer and Intercession.
• Celebrating the Sacraments
• Working in Partnership with Priests and People.
• Incorporating the Schools into our Mission process.
• Welcoming back those who are lapsed, marginalized, or isolated.
• Door to door visitation.
• Putting a high emphasis on one to one ministry.
• Using an easy and relevant “down to earth” style of proclamation.
