Teaching on the New Evangelisation to Deacons, Wales
The weekend of the 19 -21 October saw Msgr Pat giving a teaching/ training weekend to Welsh Deacons at Llantarnam Abbey in Cardiff Wales. The emphasis was on the relationship between Deacons and the “New Evangelisation” especially in the area of {A} Preaching {B} Service and the {C} Liturgy.
“………deacons are commended to all by their conduct, their preaching of the mystery of Christ, by transmitting Christian doctrine and by devoting attention to the problems of our time.
The principal function…..which is not of their own wisdom but of the word of God, calling all to conversion and holiness”.
